Our vacation home between sandstone cliffs and wide open sky — a quiet base under one of the darkest night skies in the country, close to hiking trails and Jeep roads.

Zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder, eine große offene Wohnküche und das Beste: ein großzügiges Deck, auf dem man auf unserer Air Mattress direkt draußen unter dem Sternenhimmel schlafen kann — die Milky Way Casita ist unser zweites Zuhause in Torrey und jetzt auch für Gäste offen. Nachts, fernab jeder Lichtverschmutzung, zieht sich die Milchstraße quer über den Himmel — daher der Name. Wir haben es eingerichtet, wie wir es selbst gern vorfinden würden: einfach, warm, mit ein paar Erinnerungsstücken aus Deutschland und viel Liebe zur Region.
Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, one big open kitchen-living area, and best of all: a spacious deck where you can sleep right outside on our air mattress, under the stars — the Milky Way Casita is our second home in Torrey, and now open to guests too. At night, far from any light pollution, the Milky Way stretches clear across the sky — hence the name. We furnished it the way we'd want to find it ourselves: simple, warm, with a few keepsakes from Germany and a lot of love for this landscape.

Am Nordrand von Torrey gelegen, grenzt unser großes, eingezäuntes Grundstück direkt an den Fishlake National Forest — dahinter fließt der Sand Creek. Wir bauen gerade unseren Garten weiter aus. Zum Eingang des Capitol Reef National Park sind es nur wenige Autominuten, Wanderwege wie der Lion's Head Trail und Jeep-Strecken wie der Great Western Trail sind schnell erreicht. Die genaue Adresse teilen wir nach Buchungsbestätigung.
Set on the north edge of Torrey, our large, fenced property backs directly onto the Fishlake National Forest — with Sand Creek running just beyond it. We're currently expanding our garden. The Capitol Reef National Park entrance is just a few minutes' drive, with quick access to hiking trails like the Lion's Head Trail and Jeep routes like the Great Western Trail. We'll share the exact address after your booking is confirmed.
